If you need to change the dates of your trip, we can move your single trip insurance to any date before the end of 2021, with no admin charge.
Single trip policies can start from 15 Jun 2020 onwards. Annual policies can start any date.
Our policies will provide cover under the emergency medical section only for COVID-19/Coronavirus/ Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARs-COV-2) whilst you are abroad. There is no cover under any other section of the policy for anything caused by or relating to Covid-19/Coronavirus/SARs-COV-2, any mutation of Covid-19/Coronavirus/SARs-COV-2 or any pandemic or fear or threat of any of the above.
Please note, our policies do not provide cover for cancellation, abandonment or curtailment claims if the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) advises against all or “all but essential” travel. You must not travel against Foreign and Commonwealth Office advice.
Our policies will not provide any cover whilst the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) are advising against travel, however all the usual policy benefits will resume as soon as the travel ban is lifted. If you have a holiday booked, we recommend you buy a policy now, so that you will be instantly covered as soon as the travel ban is lifted.

Obviously for a claim against your holiday supplier to succeed, it's not enough that you just didn't enjoy your holiday because the weather was bad, or you chose a destination you didn't like. The complaint must relate to something that was under the holiday supplier's control, such as the standard and safety of accommodation or facilities, where it can be shown that they have broken their contract with you.

You must notify our legal specialists within 30 days of returning from a holiday where you have had a dispute and there may be a potential claim. This is likely to be before you have completed the complaints procedure for the relevant supplier.
If you receive an unsatisfactory response you're your holiday supplier our legal experts will assess whether you have a case for legal action. If you have a legal case, our specialists will take over the claim and appoint a specialist to act on your behalf.
Our travel disputes cover includes the appointment of an appropriate legal professional to act on your behalf, however you can also choose your own solicitor, provided they are approved by our legal experts.
