"Homads" get free holiday insurance

New research claims that more than half of young adults are considering going on holiday with mum and dad to save money. Those under 18 can save even more money as they qualifying for free holiday insurance

Insurewithease will cover under 18s on their parents' travel insurance if they opt for Gold cover. Offspring who are too old to qualify for free travel insurance will find insurewithease offers affordable premiums.

In a survey by online holiday accommodation booking agency, Holiday-Rentals.co.uk, 52% of young Britons said they were considering going away with their parents this year, earning them the nickname HOMADs because they 'Holiday on Mum and Dad'.

Almost a third admitted their motive for doing so was financially driven ? in other words, their parents will pick up the bill ? but the remainder said they would do it to spend quality time together.
