Families offered guaranteed euro exchange rate for summer holidays

22/12/2009

French holiday park operator Siblu Holidays (www.siblu.com) has launched on-park EuroVouchers so parents booking family holidays don't need to worry any more about the fluctuating exchange rate.

Customers visiting any of the Siblu parks next summer can buy the vouchers now at an exchange rate of 1.25€ to £1 so they can fix the value of their holiday spending money well in advance.

EuroVouchers are commission free and charge free and at an exchange rate of 1.25€ to £1 they are pretty good value. The exchange rate on currency exchange website www.xe.com this week was just 1.12€ to £1.

Even better, Siblu will buy back any unused vouchers at the same exchange rate for no extra cost.

EuroVouchers are available in 5€ denominations and can be bought with holidays booked through Siblu in January 2010.

EuroVoucher's fixed exchange rate guarantees a family changing £200 will receive 250€ of vouchers, compared to around 216€ from the Post Office (www.postoffice.co.uk), Thomas Cook (www.thomascook.com) or Travelex (www.travelex.com) and just 205€ for money exchanged at a UK airport.

EuroVouchers can be used in the restaurants, bars, shops and with activities at 11 Siblu parcs across France, in destinations from Normandy to the Cote d'Azur. Further information is available at www.siblu.com/vouchers.

Siblu is also offering up to 25 per cent off family holidays next year, with prices starting at £330 for a week in Brittany during the Whitsun break, which can be secured with a deposit of £25.
