Take the stress out of holiday with comprehensive travel insurance

19/06/2009

More than a third of British workers admit they are nervous of taking a holiday in case they lose their jobs, but buying affordable travel insurance through insurewithease.com is one less cost to worry about.

A poll of 3,000 Brits revealed that although the average worker gets 20 days holiday a year, 16% don't think they will take all the days off they are entitled to this year.

A staggering 28% said they worried that taking too much time off might make them targets for redundancy as desperate employers hit by the economic downturn look to cut costs.

Victoria Sanders, managing director of Teletext Holidays which carried out the poll said: ""The research proves people are finding it increasingly hard to relax at the moment, with many admitting it's the most stressed they have ever felt.

""Concern about job security means people are leaving it later than ever to book their holiday.""

Sanders advised people to save money by booking at the last minute adding that there were some particularly good late deals around at the moment.
