New executive lounge opened at Gatwick

26/11/2007

Last week saw the official opening of a modernised executive lounge at Gatwick Airport.

Located on the first floor, the refurbished lounge has been designed with the modern business traveller in mind and comes equipped with Wi-Fi internet connections and computer workstations for 130 people.

Meanwhile, the upgraded lighting and revamped facilities, including TV screens and bar and coffee area, are intended to make flying as relaxing as possible.

The lounge will be operated by Aviance and will serve passengers travelling the north terminal of the London transport hub.

Emma Rees, head of property at Gatwick, said: "We're absolutely delighted Aviance has developed such a great facility for passengers travelling through the north terminal.

"It's a great addition to what's already on offer and provides passengers with real choice, whether they wish to enjoy the wide range of shops and restaurants available in the main departure lounge, or simply unwind before they board their aircraft."
