Snow disruption to air travel in the United States
Heavy snow fall in the northeast of the United States is causing delays and cancellations to flights. John F Kennedy airport in New York is closed until approximately 10:00 EST local time (15:00 UK time), whilst Newark International airport, New Jersey, is closed until 12:00 local time (17:00 UK time).

The FCO has advised against all but essential travel to Tunisia.
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office has changed its advice regarding Tunisia and are now advising against any non-essential travel to the country, due to the continuing political unrest, which has led to public demonstrations.

Severe flooding across Queensland - Travel Insurance Australia
There is continued severe flooding across Queensland, with some areas experiencing their worst floods in more than 50 years. Brisbane, Australia’s 3rd largest city is the latest area being affected with parts of the city centre being evacuated due to flash floods.

Don't cut corners on travel insurance warns FCO
As British tourists see the costs of travelling abroad rise in 2011 and look for ways to keep costs down, the Foreign Office warns travellers to be prepared and not to cut corners on travel insurance.
