Travel photography competition

Keen-eyed adventure holidaymakers have been invited to submit photos of their travels for the chance to win a free trip abroad.

A new competition organised by the Daily Telegraph Travel Show is seeking an image that "captures the spirit of adventure travel".

The photo deemed to the best by a panel of a panel of judges will see the photographer rewarded with an all-expenses-paid trip to Cuba, where they will be schooled in improving their camera skills by experts in the field.

The image will also be used in the advertising campaign for the 2009 show - providing the winner with invaluable exposure.

Entries will be accepted up until January 4th 2008.

"Having an adventure doesn’t have to mean seeing your life flash before your eyes. Adventure travel is anything that’s new, different and exciting to you.

"So if you’re proud of 'that shot' you snapped adventuring abroad, then simply upload it," the show's organisers said.
