Travel insurance customers can now see videos of holiday destinations by logging on to the new travel guide website simonseeks.com
Video footage has been added to the site, which aims to provide unbiased, insider guides to holiday destinations around the world.
A mapping function will be added later this month to allow browsers to pinpoint hotels, restaurants and activities listed in the guides.
Presently there are 1,500 guides on the site that launched three months ago.
Founder Simon Nixon said: Video content is a powerful reassurance when people are researching holidays and we know this will further increase their propensity to make a booking.
He added: ""Mapping is an invaluable tool for trip planning and something our visitors expect to have access to when booking their travel experiences.
""Our strategy is to bring together a raft of these functions under one easy to use platform.""
Travel insurance customers who want to write a review of their holiday can contribute to Simonseeks, which shares revenue earned from hotel partners 50:50 with its writers. ""Interest from writers has been overwhelming and this has helped us build our content quickly, added Mr Nixon.
