Thai resort Hua Hin is helping holidaymakers go green on their travels.
Hoteliers in the resort have taken steps to make their villas and hotels as carbon neutral as possible, to atone for the airmiles that tourists may have racked up reaching Thailand.
Srichan Monrakkharom of the Six Senses Hideaway told the Times of India: "European people, they feel guilty that they have to fly a long way and generate a lot of carbon emissions."
In order to offset guests' carbon footprints, Mr Monrakkharom explained that that the Six Senses' private villas are built form locally-made materials.
The hotel is also proud to say that its rooms feature no products made from plastic.
Hua Hin, which has a population of around 60,000, boasts one of the lowest rainfalls in Thailand.
However, the island's location next to the beach provides a sea-breeze, which keeps temperatures down.
The resort has night markets and a range of shops and boutiques for holidaymakers to take advantage of during their trips.
