Discounted airport parking available for skiers

British skiers going on winter sports breaks over the next few months will be able to park for less at Birmingham airport, thanks to a new scheme from skiparking.com.

The offer opens on December 14th and closes on March 31st next year, during which time skiers will able to claim a ten per cent discount on their parking.

Meanwhile, to make your trip even easier to organise, skiers booking through skiparking.com will also be able to book other holiday essentials such as airport hotels, ski hire and lift passes online.

News of the reduced parking offer comes as recent research from financial comparison site showed that of the thousands of Brits jetting off to ski destinations this winter, around 28 per cent will leave without adequate travel insurance.

In so doing, they are putting themselves at significant risk of financial ruin, according to Peter Gerrard of moneysupermarket.
