Business travellers come home to glistening cars

07/04/2008

Business travellers flying with Silverjet will now be arriving home to glistening automobiles, as part of a new scheme.

The business class-only airline is offering its passengers the option to have their cars fully-cleaned while they are being looked after by a Silverjet valet.

Customers' cars will be thoroughly washed, hoovered and then deodorised inside as well as benefiting from a window polish.

Prices for this service, which includes parking at the airport for three nights, start at £63 and go up to £113, for those seeking a superior clean for their car.

In related news, Silverjet has announced that a promotional deal it has signed with American Express help increase its passenger numbers in February by 23 per cent.

Like other British Airways rivals, the carrier has also benefited from the disastrous opening of Heathrow's T5.

A spokesman for the airline said: "Silverjet has been running a print advert off the back of the T5 incident, and we have seen an uptake in bookings.".
