Brits that are already on holiday in Turkey after booking with Goldtrail have experienced major disruptions to their holidays. Some hoteliers have been demanding payment from guests that have insisted they have already paid for their holiday in Turkey through Goldtrail. In 2009, the number of Brits taking holidays abroad dropped dramatically. It was the sharpest fall in holiday sales since the 1970s. Foreign trips abroad were down 10.4 million from 2008’s figures.
